Overall, the training emphasizes a practical applications and skills development for CDM and climate change related activities.

-Countries and companies are encouraged for innovative interactions necessary for CDM policy development and investment.

-Experiences, information sharing drawn from case studies targeted to specific CDM policy and projects and awareness raising are key to the development of a carbon offset market.

-Group discussions as working sessions are applied to facilitate informal exchange of ideas and information.

-Group projects are undertaken by the participants for specific project assignments and exercises to improve skills in CDM projects identification, preparation, negotiation, strategic planning and implementation of policy initiatives and CDM projects.
